Welcome!

I'm so glad you are here

Starting out, my name is Anna Nasset, and I am the 20-year-old owner and operator of Prairie Glow Photography. I have always been interested in photography, and I would say my passion for it began in my early teens. For my 13th birthday, I remember begging my parents for a camera. I had taken photos on my Mom's iPhone 4 (those were the days), and that just wasn't cutting it for me anymore.  That birthday, my parents followed through and bought me a little Samsung digital camera. It came with me everywhere, and there are still videos of my sibling playing Mario Kart on it, as well as pictures of us doing flips on our trampoline. This camera also appeared a lot in high school, following me to prom, vacations, and many other events.

While I really loved my digital camera, I started thinking about investing in a better one, and in November of 2024, I followed through and bought my first professional camera. This camera really unlocked my love of capturing everything around me. I took it on hikes, to basketball games, to prom—everywhere. In the summer of 2025, I shot what I would call my first "real" session, and the rest is history. Since starting Prairie Glow, I have found that photography is so much more than just taking pictures. It's capturing feelings, preserving memories, and making moments last. I am a devout Catholic, and through my photography, I have gained a greater appreciation for all of creation and seen the beauty of God's creatures in a whole new way. I know that I am blessed to have been given this talent and opportunity, and I thank the Lord for it every day.

A little more about me: I am currently attending the University of Mary, where I am studying Professional Accountancy. After graduating, I plan to earn my Master's of Business Administration and become a CPA. At Mary, I am also a member of the track and field team (BLEED BLUE!), where I compete in high jump and triple jump. My teammates are my biggest supporters, and they truly are like a family to me. Being at Mary has helped me learn so much about my faith, and has given me so many opportunities for growth and development. Although I'm currently in Bismarck for school, I will always be a small-town girl at heart. I grew up in Regent, North Dakota, on a homestead outside of town. While I love Bismarck, I plan to move closer to home once I have completed my education at Mary.

When I'm not doing any of these things, you can find me doing anything and everything outside. In the summers, I can often be found on a beach, in a boat, or in a kayak. I can also be found spending a lot of time with both my friends and family. Some of my favorite ways to spend time with them include playing various kinds of cards or board games (my favorites being cribbage and Ticket to Ride), working on a new puzzle, or a night of painting canvases. Through all these things, you can also always count on my having a Bubbl'r in my hand, and a smile on my face. If I'm lucky, I might even be sipping on a Dr. Yum from Fizzly.

Now that you've learned a little more about me, I would love to hear more about you. Take a look at what I offer, and let's find a way to make your vision come to life. Let's capture the moment, the feelings, and the memories. I'm looking forward to getting in touch!

Why Prairie Glow?

When choosing a name for my business, I wanted it to reflect a true love of mine, which is North Dakota. Growing up in North Dakota has been my biggest blessing—and I am so glad to be here. There is something so calming and beautiful about the prairie. The rolling fields of crops, the pale blue skies, the soft glow of the sunsets. I love the way the North Dakota scenery complements my subjects, and I wanted to incorporate that love into my business. Thus, Prairie Glow was born!
